Dr. Sergio Durante
Dr. Sergio Durante is graduated in mechanical engineering at Politecnico of Torino and for 13 years has been responsible of advanced research projects on manufacturing technologies in a big automotive research centre, where he was leader of the Machining Department and responsible of technology transfer to FIAT Group Companies as Ferrari, Maserati, Comau, AlfaRomeo, Lancia, CASE New Holland.
He has been Coordinator in several European projects, where the most important European Universities, Industries and Research Institutes were involved in.
Today he is executive vice president of DIAD, where he is also responsible for technology transfer in aeronautic and aerospace sector. Author of more than 60 publications, he is member of the scientific committees of several technical international revues.
