Alan will explain how many engineering ceramics are hidden in their final application and their importance and the value they unlock as key enabling materials is often overlooked.

Following a brief company introduction, the presentation will seek to dispel some of the myths around the application of Technical Ceramics and highlight the wide and diverse range of materials and applications that exist.  Mention will also be made of future developments addressing increasing performance trends, sustainability and rapid manufacturing technologies including additive manufacture of ceramics

The event is to be held on Tuesday 20th February at the Holiday Inn, Royal Victoria – Sheffield.
