A digital twin is the culmination of connectivity, analytics, machine learning and visualisation - all technologies of Industry 4.0. But what role a digital twin has in a manufacturing business is often less clear.
Through this informal event, Digital Twin Lead at the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC), Jonathan Eyre, will explain what a digital twin is and where it plays a role in the future of manufacturing.
Additionally, Jonathan will detail the opportunities that can be created from working with the AMRC.
This session is part of the AMRC’s Digital Meet Manufacturing (DMM) campaign to lead the way in connecting digital and manufacturing together in a way that benefits both sectors.
