How to grow your business with 3D printing
06 May 2020If you are a manufacturing SME based in Lancashire, then this FREE workshop is for you.
This one-day ERDF funded workshop will give the attendee a basic understanding of 3D printing or additive manufacturing, and the steps involved to create a part from start to finish.
This comprehensive workshop will cover both theoretical and practical sessions, as well as an introduction to several common technologies and materials. At the end of the session, the attendee receives a one-to-one consultation with AMRC North West’s additive manufacturing experts to identify how the technology can help their business. Following on from the workshop, an AMRC North West’s representative will visit the attendee’s business to formalise the opportunities in a report.
This is a beginner’s course aimed at individuals who are new to additive manufacturing and interested in learning how the technology works. This course is suitable for both technical and non-technical individuals, and no prior knowledge in additive manufacturing is required.

Eligibility
The attendee must be from a manufacturing SME based in Lancashire. SMEs are defined by the European
Commission as having less than 250 persons employed, an annual turnover of up to £44 million, or a balance
sheet total of no more than £38.5 million.
