AMRC Forum: Metals for challenging applications

07 February 2019 - 07 February 2019

Metals are still very much at the heart of manufacturing and engineering industries, with global demand for steel having doubled in the last 20 years.

Emerging economies are driving much of the growth through investment in infrastructure, while more developed economies are demanding ever higher performance from metallic components, particularly for challenging environments like subsea and space.

New alloys, coatings and new manufacturing techniques continue to be developed as challenges like manufacture of lightweight, complex components with high material efficiency come to the fore.

Join us on 7th February 2019 at the AMRC to hear news and views from across the metals supply chain.

We’ll be joined by speakers from Liberty Steels, Beta Technology, Nitec, Broder Metals and the AMRC Castings.
