Be part of the next step for dynamic large-volume metrology in UK manufacturing.

Could external measurement make industrial automation more flexible, adaptable and easier to verify? 

NPL and the University of Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing Researh Centre (AMRC) are bringing together manufacturers, automation integrators, technology suppliers and researchers to explore how large-volume metrology and motion-capture systems can support robot guidance, adaptive assembly, measurement-assisted manufacturing and faster production changeovers.

The workshop will examine the performance evidence industry needs to confidently deploy these technologies in dynamic environments and discuss opportunities for future UK benchmark activities. Attendees will see a live demonstration of NPL's candidate benchmark method for dynamic 6 DoF measurement, share requirements and challenges, and help shape future pilot activities.
