Dr Jon Stammers, AMRC's senior theme lead for data, connectivity and AI, will be delivering the technology keynote: Shaping the future: How AI and connectivity are redefining UK manufacturing. The presentation will explore how advanced technologies—AI, Industrial IoT, and smart data systems—are driving a new era of manufacturing. Drawing on real-world applications from the University of Sheffield AMRC Factory 2050, Jon will demonstrate how UK manufacturers can move beyond pilots to scalable transformation, harness data for strategic decision-making, and embrace disruption as a driver of innovation and growth.
